Family Promise of Genesee County to host 3rd Annual Golf ‘FORE’ Families event.
Local nonprofit working to prevent and end family homelessness joins the annual digital campaign to raise awareness and funds for housing-insecure families.
FLINT, MI, February 27, 2022 – Registration will open in April; right now, you can RSVP to reserve a spot for the 3rd Annual charity golf outing, which benefits Family Promise of Genesee County. This year‘s tournament will be held on September 22nd at the Sugarbush Golf Club, 1 Sugarbush Drive, Davison, MI 48423. all funds raised go toward supporting families battling homelessness.

Family Promise is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization addressing the crisis of family homelessness in Genesee County. In 2012 a group of individuals came together wanting to help children and families in a housing crisis. Since then, FPGC has provided more than 16,763 nights of safe sleep, 46,572 meals, and served more than 2,055 children in 795 families. 92% of our families who graduated still live in stable homes. Through a comprehensive set of solutions involving prevention, shelter, and stabilization, Family Promise empowers families experiencing or who are at risk of homelessness to reclaim and maintain their independence.
