Mark your calendars, because Flushing is about to be filled with music, community, and hope!

The 11th Annual Benefit Concert, hosted by Flushing United Methodist Church, is happening Sunday, September 7th at 3:00 PM at the beautiful Riverview Park Band Shell (230 S. Cherry Street, Downtown Flushing, MI).

This year’s concert will feature the incredible sounds of local Christian rock band 1Fifty, a group known for their powerful lyrics, high-energy performance, and heart for bringing people together through music. With a mix of uplifting originals and crowd-favorite covers, their set is guaranteed to move both your spirit and your feet.

But this event is more than just a concert—it’s a chance to come together as a community in support of families in need. For over a decade, Flushing United Methodist Church has hosted this annual tradition, bringing music lovers, families, and neighbors together for an afternoon that celebrates generosity and faith in action.

Bring your friends, your family, and your love for great music. Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be taken during the concert, with all proceeds going to support the vital work of Family Promise of Mid Michigan in helping families facing housing instability and homelessness.

So come on out, soak in the music, enjoy the late-summer sunshine, and join us in making a difference. Together, we can ensure that every family in our community has the chance to find stability, support, and hope.
